Antonio Facco is a young Italian designer who, since the beginning, has always paid great attention towards the evolution of contemporary design and communication. Through analysis of the new generations’ behaviour and habits he draws hints and inspiration for his own research and projects.
Facco recently designed Anemos, a silent monolith, an armour protecting the warm and gentle soul living inside. Once opened, this table reveals four retractable seats: poufs with curved padded frames. Anemos is a body of five elements suitable for numerous scenarios: living areas, public and retail spaces and is produced by Cappellini, the famous design brand.
Cappellini and Facco wanted to create a version of the product with fully vinyl upholstered seats and chose to experiment a new hybrid material developed by Bolon called Villa La Madonna. They wanted to create a softer version of Anemos, with the possibility of unifying walls, floor and furniture in a space, developing a very recognisable domestic product.
